Privacy policy

This privacy policy applies to the website lumigast.de. The Lumigast application itself, which businesses use for their staff planning, is covered by separate privacy information. Businesses receive this before setup.

1. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR (DSGVO), is:

Reuther Media, Ulrich Reuther
Zossener Str. 41
10961 Berlin
Phone: 030 84523850
Email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Further details can be found in the legal notice. No data protection officer has been appointed, as the legal requirements for this are not met.

2. Hosting

This website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestraße 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen. The data is processed in a data centre in Nuremberg (Germany) and therefore within the European Union. The hosting provider is used on the basis of our legitimate interest in the secure, stable and efficient provision of this online service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded with the provider.

3. Accessing the website

So that your browser can display the page, the web server processes technically necessary connection data: your IP address, the page accessed, date and time, browser type and operating system, and the previously visited page (referrer). No web server access log containing this data is stored for this website (for web analytics, see section 6). Technical error messages from the server are automatically overwritten after a short time.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest lies in the technically error-free operation and the security of the website. Without this connection data, the website cannot be displayed; all other information, for example when you contact us, is voluntary.

4. Cookies

This website does not use marketing, advertising or statistics cookies. At most, a technically necessary session cookie of the content management system is set. The legal basis is § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG (German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act) in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. This cookie contains no profiling data and becomes invalid when the browser is closed at the latest. The web analytics (section 6) also work without cookies. As no cookies requiring consent are used, this website does not need a cookie consent banner.

5. Contact by phone, email or enquiry form

If you contact us by phone or email, your details are processed solely to handle your enquiry, for example to arrange a demonstration. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for enquiries aimed at concluding a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data is deleted as soon as your enquiry has been dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply.

Enquiry form. On the contact page you can send us an enquiry using a form. We process the details you enter: type and size of your business, where applicable the number of locations and your POS system, the areas you are interested in, how and when you would like to get to know Lumigast, the name and town of your business, your name and email address and, optionally, your phone number and a message. The purpose is to handle your enquiry, for example to arrange a call or a demonstration and to make you a suitable offer. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract). Required fields are marked; without them we cannot handle the enquiry.

After sending, you receive a confirmation with your details at the address you provided; we receive the enquiry by email. So that no enquiry gets lost, the submission is also stored in the database of this website (server of Hetzner Online GmbH, section 2) and automatically deleted there after 12 months; if a contract results from the enquiry, the statutory retention periods apply. Your IP address is not stored with the submission. We do not send you advertising because of your enquiry.

Spam protection without third parties. To protect against automated submissions, your browser solves a small calculation while you fill in the form (ALTCHA method, “proof of work”). The task and the check run via our own server; no data is passed on to third parties, no additional cookies are set and no picture puzzles are shown. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting the website against misuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Our email mailbox is operated by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf (data centres in Germany). A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded with the provider.

6. Web analytics with Matomo (without cookies)

So that we can see which pages are read, this website uses the open-source web analytics software Matomo. Matomo runs on our own server (stats.reuther-media.de) at Hetzner Online GmbH in a data centre in Helsinki (Finland, European Union); the data is not passed on to third parties. Matomo works here without cookies. Your IP address is shortened by two bytes before it is stored, so it cannot be traced back to you. We record the pages visited with date and time, the time spent on them, the previously visited page, the approximate origin (country), browser, operating system and device type.

No usage profiles are created across several websites, there is no automated decision-making, and no third-party advertising or tracking service is used, for example no Google Analytics. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in measuring reach and improving the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); consent under § 25 TDDDG is not required because no information is stored on your device. You can object to this processing at any time (section 12).

7. No social media plugins

No social media plugins are embedded on this website. References to external websites are simple links: a connection to the respective provider is only established when you click on such a link. The respective provider is responsible for the processing on the linked website.

8. Fonts and third-party content

The fonts used on this website are delivered locally from our own server. There is no connection to third-party servers, in particular not to Google Fonts. Likewise, no map services, video platforms or other third-party content are embedded.

9. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption exclusively. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser’s address bar begins with “https://” and a padlock icon is displayed.

10. Recipients and transfers to third countries

Your data is only passed on insofar as this is necessary to fulfil contractual or legal obligations. The recipients are the hosting provider Hetzner Online GmbH (sections 2 and 6) and the email provider ALL-INKL.COM (section 5), acting as processors. No data is transferred to countries outside the European Union.

11. Your rights as a data subject

You have the following rights towards us regarding the personal data concerning you: access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and withdrawal of any consent given, with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR). An informal message to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. is sufficient to exercise these rights.

12. Right to object

Insofar as we process data on the basis of legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), you may object to this at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). We will then no longer process the data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. An informal message to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. is sufficient.

13. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data (Art. 77 GDPR). The competent authority is: Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit (Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information), Alt-Moabit 59-61, 10555 Berlin, www.datenschutz-berlin.de.

14. Changes to this privacy policy

This privacy policy will be updated as soon as changes to the website or to the legal situation make this necessary. The version published here applies in each case.
