Rota with rule checks
Plan the week with templates, copy the previous week and publish the rota. Any changes made after that are logged.
- Templates for recurring shifts, staffing needs per weekday and area, for example kitchen and service
- You publish the rota and each new version gets a number. Your team is notified
- Rule check with traffic light and reason: maximum working hours, breaks, rest periods, Sundays off
- Minimum wage, the annual minijob limit (marginal employment), night work, short-term employment (70 days or 3 months) and the German Youth Employment Protection Act (JArbSchG) including vocational school days
- If information is missing, the traffic light shows “cannot be checked” instead of green
- On red, you can only continue with “Schedule anyway”, and this is recorded
- On your phone day by day, on a computer also as a grid of all staff. You see holidays and sickness directly in the rota; the posted rota does not show them
Staffing and self sign-up
Your team enters their availability four weeks in advance and signs up for open shifts. You decide.
- Mark time slots as available or “can’t work”: on your phone, in seconds
- Sign up for open slots. You accept or decline
- Staffing as lights: green filled, yellow waiting for your decision, blue requested, flashing red = someone is missing here
- Open a week for sign-ups. Your team is notified
Requests and preferred staff
Ask specific people. Lumigast shows who is available, who has not entered anything yet and who can’t work.
- “Can you work?” Your team answers yes or no, in the app or directly in the chat
- Preferred staff per weekday, time slot and area: ask them one after another with one tap
- No answer? You get a reminder and can ask someone else with one tap
- Asked several people? The first to accept gets the slot; the others see “Shift filled by someone else”
Cancellations, swaps and reminders
If someone cancels, you see straight away who can step in and ask them all with one tap. Until someone accepts, the original person stays on the rota and the board shows the gap.
- “I can’t make it after all” → you get a list of who is available and ask them with “Ask everyone”
- Hand over or swap a shift, with a colleague’s acceptance and your approval
- Your team confirms directly assigned shifts by a deadline
- Reminders to staff phones via Telegram, for example “You’re working tomorrow …” or “Please check in”. Without Telegram, they appear in the app under the bell
- Announcements to the team with read receipts: you see who has not read them yet
Rota suggestion and works council
At the push of a button, Lumigast suggests the staffing for the week – based on needs, availability, contracts and the rules of the Working Hours Act. Every assignment comes with its reason. You check and decide.
- A suggestion for the whole week: who is scheduled and who is asked – shown as dashed lights directly on the board
- Takes into account needs per area and time slot, covers from the reservation book, released times, preferred staff and contracted hours
- Rule checks across the month and the year: rest periods, minijob limit, short-term employment, night work
- Fairly shared: weekends and late shifts in turn, avoiding single working days between days off where possible
- The shorter 10-hour rest period only if you allow it – and only with compensation within four weeks
- Fixed rules instead of AI: the same information gives the same suggestion. Gaps stay red and state the reason
- Accept per shift, per day or everything – “everything” only after a review screen with a tick box; every acceptance is logged
- Works council mode: submit the weekly rota, holiday plan and minimum staffing for approval – with resolution, conditions and minutes as a PDF
- With a works council, a rota is only published after approval. If it changes afterwards, Lumigast shows the differences and submits it again
Time tracking
Check in, break, check out: on staff’s own phones or on a tablet at the venue. This records the start, end and duration of every shift, as the German Minimum Wage Act (MiLoG) requires.
- No signal when checking in? The tap is saved with the time and sent as soon as the connection is back (keep the check-in page open)
- Tablet for checking in and out with a personal PIN, for everyone without a smartphone
- Check in with a card: hold the card to the reader on the tablet or via NFC to an Android tablet, then enter the PIN – only a check value is stored, not the card number (in testing)
- Staff are asked about breaks when they check out; nothing is deducted at a flat rate
- Anyone who starts early needs your approval; otherwise the time counts from the start of the shift
- Corrections only with a reason. The old and new values remain visible
- Attendance at a glance: who is here, who is still missing
- Warning if times have not been recorded within seven days
Holidays and absences
Request and approve holidays without paper forms, with a holiday balance, blackout periods and a direct effect on the rota.
- Request on your phone, approval with one tap
- Holiday balance with carry-over and pro-rata annual entitlement
- Holiday blackout periods, for example on New Year’s Eve or in peak season
- Reporting sick without a diagnosis: affected shifts go straight into the search for cover
- Anyone who is absent shows red when you schedule them. Only possible with “Schedule anyway”
Annual leave planning
Plan holidays for the whole year in one go: your team enters its wishes, Lumigast shows the conflicts, and you decide in one step.
- Year overview as a row of lights: twelve months per person, with the school holidays and public holidays of your federal state and your holiday blackout periods
- Wish phase with a deadline: your team enters up to six wishes with priorities on the phone – in their own language
- Minimum staffing per area: flashing red where too many people would be away at the same time – with names and dates
- A suggestion for your decision based on priority, fairness over last year’s summer holidays, remaining leave and minimum staffing – every refusal with a reason
- Confirm line by line or all at once; each person gets one message with their result
- A note to each person about their remaining leave, with the date by which it should be taken
- Holiday plan as a PDF to put up and as a spreadsheet – without sick days
Month-end closing and payroll office
At the end of the month, each person sees their hours and can confirm or query them. You check, approve and send the export to your payroll office.
- “My month”: view hours and confirm or query them
- Checks before approval: missing check-ins and check-outs, breaks, overlaps
- Night, Sunday and public holiday hours shown separately. Whether a premium is paid, and how much, is set by your contracts
- Statutory public holidays per federal state; you enter local holidays yourself, once
- If you change anything after approval, the payroll office receives a new file with the changes
- Timesheets as PDF and an audit trail: all times with every change (who, when, why), ready to present during a customs inspection (in Germany, customs checks compliance with the minimum wage)
- Payroll export for DATEV LODAS and DATEV Lohn und Gehalt, or as a spreadsheet. You set up wage types and personnel numbers once with your payroll office
- If you wish, the payroll export goes to your payroll office by email automatically after your approval; your payroll office can also download it in its own access
Checklists and HACCP
Lists for the start and end of a shift, ticked off on a phone with name and time. Readings and corrective actions document your in-house food safety checks (HACCP).
- Lists per area, for the first or last shift of the day or for every shift, optionally only on certain weekdays
- Recurring tasks: weekly, every two weeks, monthly, yearly. For example cleaning schedule, pest control, grease trap
- Start “as needed”, for example with every delivery: goods receiving with temperature and delivery note
- Readings such as fridge and freezer temperatures with limits; photo as evidence, without location data
- Deviation? Nothing is saved without a corrective action, and you get a notification
- Report defects with a photo, such as broken equipment; you record when the issue has been dealt with
- Monthly inspection folder as PDF and spreadsheet, with your sign-off, for the food safety inspection
- Templates based on the model forms of the food control authorities, set up with one tap
- Measured values and limits are stored as they were at the time of measurement; deviations cannot be deleted
Certificates and deadlines
When a certificate is about to expire, Lumigast shows this in good time, including in the rota.
- Certificate under the German Infection Protection Act (IfSG) and follow-up instruction every two years
- Hygiene training at the interval your business sets
- Residence permit, probationary period and fixed-term contract with expiry date
- Traffic light per person; enter records for several people at once
- The rota warns you when an instruction is due and blocks scheduling if a residence permit has expired
- Safety briefings you record become proof for each person – with the deadline for the next one (with the add-on module Applications and onboarding)
Obligations and records
Which obligations may apply to your business depends on what you do – not on whether you call yourself a café or a restaurant. Lumigast sorts the obligations by activity and shows where a record is missing. There is deliberately no overall green light.
Lumigast supports you in organising your business obligations and records. For each obligation the overview shows the source, the legal status and any missing information. Which obligations apply to your business, and whether your actual processes meet them, must be checked separately.
- 32 obligations in nine areas: till, staff, young workers, food and hygiene, data protection, works council, restaurant licence and serving alcohol, takeaway sales, locations
- Triggered by activities such as a till, mini-jobs, staff under 18, alcohol, music or takeaway – never by the type of business alone
- First “applies”, “does not apply” or “unknown”, then the record: on file, due, overdue or missing. Unknown items stay visible and never turn green
- For each obligation: source, legal status and the date of the last review; anything not yet reliably confirmed is marked “check”
- Responsible person or role, reminder before the due date; on “Today” only as a number
- Records from personnel files, certificates, the POS and the new opening checklist are linked instead of stored twice; export as PDF and CSV for inspections
- Till registration with the tax office with a deadline per till, a reminder and “reported on” including proof – the Lumigast POS compiles the data sheet for it
Access and notifications
No app store, no lengthy training: each person gets an invitation link and is ready to go in a few minutes.
- Invitation via link, QR code or WhatsApp
- In the browser, optionally as an icon on the home screen, with notifications even without Telegram
- Two-factor login with a code from an authenticator app, recommended for management
- Roles with their own permissions, for example shift lead for staffing and checklists (no access to wages or personnel files) and payroll office read-only – see Roles and permissions
- Your own shifts as a subscription in your phone’s calendar
- For your team in German, English or Turkish: pages, alerts and messages to their phones, more languages on request
- Optionally in Telegram as well: one bot for the team, one for management. Accept and decline requests directly in the chat. Messages containing first names and shifts then go through Telegram, a service outside the EU
- Built for the phone: weekly rota, staffing, requests, holidays, times, checklists and contracts, for management too
- Help in the app: guide, emergency mode and contact; report a fault with a photo – you get a reference number and the reply in the app
- Faults and maintenance appear as a notice in the app and on the public status page
Telegram bots and manager assistant
For everyone who prefers to work in the chat: requests, reminders and announcements arrive via Telegram if you wish – and for management, the manager assistant will be added as soon as it is enabled.
- Two bots: one for the team, one for management – optional; without Telegram, everything stays in the app
- Answer requests with buttons: “Yes, I’ll come” or “No, I can’t”; management accepts or declines
- Reminders and announcements with read receipts
- Management bot: “/heute” for open items, “/wer” for suitable people with the rule traffic light, “/umsatz” for the day’s revenue
- Messages containing first names and shifts go through Telegram, a service outside the EU
- Manager assistant (in preparation): prices, items, daily menu, opening hours, announcements and shifts by text or voice message – always with a preview and confirmation
- The assistant works with AI services from external providers and a daily limit per business; it will only be switched on once the data processing agreements are in place
Staff costs and tips
What your rota costs, already while you plan. With daily revenue, you see whether staff costs stay within limits.
- Planned staff costs per day and week from hours and contract wages, optionally with a surcharge for employer contributions
- With daily revenue: staff cost ratio as a traffic light and revenue per working hour. You decide when the traffic light shows green or yellow
- For past days, the hours from check-in to check-out count
- For planned days, the traffic light uses expected revenue, based on your own history for the same weekday or on your input, always marked as an estimate
- Events on the day: street festival, company party, covers. The team sees the title, you see the recommended staffing per area (one person per n guests)
- Distribute tips: enter the pool, split it by hours and area, list for signing. Your team sees their share
- Visible only to you, not to the shift lead
Controlling
Know every morning how yesterday went – and every month where the money goes. Lumigast works with the figures that the POS, rota and purchasing already have.
Learn more: Controlling → · Revenue and tax adviser →
- Daily report for every day: revenue, guests, hours, cost of goods and the comparison with the last four same weekdays – sent to management as a message every morning
- In detail and as a PDF: payment methods, voids and discounts, tips, staff meals, target cost of goods, waste and goods received that day
- Budget with plan vs. actual per month: revenue, cost of goods, staff and your own items such as rent or energy – with a traffic light for deviations
- Forecast for the current month, contribution margin and the revenue from which you make a profit (break-even); year view with twelve lights
- Menu engineering: which dishes make money and which don’t? Grouped into stars, plowhorses, puzzles and dogs, with a recommendation – for example “raise the price by €0.50” or “take it off the menu”
- Sales figures from your own POS or from the export of another POS system (DSFinV-K)
- For your tax adviser: DATEV export of the POS and a monthly document package with all incoming invoices – original files, list and DATEV posting batch, sent automatically with the monthly dispatch if you wish
- Waste and shrinkage: the kitchen records it on the phone, with reason and photo; overview per week and month with the ratio to cost of goods
- Only people with the right permission see staff costs and the result
Purchasing, stocktaking and recipes
From supplier to plate: products, orders, invoices, stocktaking and the costing of every dish.
Learn more: Purchasing and stocktaking → · Recipes and allergen menu →
- Products with supplier, pack size, purchase price and allergens
- Order list per supplier, as text for WhatsApp or email, with suggested quantities based on minimum stock; the order suggestion with consumption and delivery days is available as an add-on module
- After delivery, straight to the goods receiving check (HACCP)
- Read in suppliers’ invoices as e-invoices (XRechnung or ZUGFeRD), PDFs or photos – checked for mandatory details, totals and duplicates; supplier and products are matched, purchase prices update themselves, and the comparison with order and goods receipt shows any discrepancies
- Stocktaking on your phone, storage location by storage location, with stock value
- Scan instead of typing: barcode scanners via USB or Bluetooth, built-in scanners of POS terminals or the phone camera – at delivery and stocktaking Lumigast takes quantity, best-before date and batch from the GS1 label; several codes per product, unknown codes are assigned once, and the GTIN in the supplier’s e-invoice finds the product (in testing)
- Recipes with base recipes: cost of goods per portion, gross profit, suggested price for your target cost of goods
- Ingredient allergens show what must be labelled on the dish
- Menu and allergen menu as PDF and for guests via QR code at the table
- Record waste on your phone (spoiled, breakage, production errors, plate waste), with a monthly overview by reason and product
- Theoretical cost of goods from sales and recipes compared with the stocktake: what is missing without anyone having recorded it?
Purchasing with order suggestions
The kitchen knows what is missing – management places the order. Lumigast works out per supplier what you need until the delivery after next, in whole pack sizes. Nothing is ever ordered automatically.
Add-on module for any package – see pricing for the price.
- One light per product: red will not last until the next delivery, yellow must come with this order, green is enough
- Calculated from the last stock count, consumption from sales and recipes (otherwise from stocktaking), expected revenue, covers and confirmed events
- Delivery days, order cut-off, lead time and minimum order value per supplier – with a note if the minimum has not been reached yet
- The kitchen adjusts quantities on the phone without seeing prices; management and shift leads place the orders
- Order as a PDF by email to the supplier – or ordered via WhatsApp, phone or portal and noted
- Matching at goods receipt: order missing quantities as a back-order or write them off; if a price changes more than you have set, management gets a message
- Price comparison per unit across all suppliers, import price lists as CSV, delivery reliability over the last 90 days
- Every morning a message to management showing which supplier has its order cut-off today – with the number of items and the total

- Each guest page only appears once you activate it and your legal notice (Impressum) is stored
POS system (in testing)
Lumigast has its own POS system for table service, bar counter and kitchen. It currently runs in demo mode with a TSE simulator; receipts issued there are not valid for tax purposes. Before live operation, a certified Cloud-TSE from fiskaly will be added once the contract is signed, and the setup will be coordinated with a tax adviser.
Learn more: POS system (in testing) → · Order at the table via QR code →

- Reports by day, week and month; each morning a message to management with the previous day’s revenue
- Redeem stamp cards when paying, bill parties from the quote, QR code for guest feedback on the receipt
- Cash drawer on the ticket printer: opens by itself for cash payments, even with a tablet as the till; only authorised staff may open it without a sale, and every such opening is recorded and shown at the cash count (in testing)
- Ticket printers report an empty paper roll or an open cover at the till and to management; kitchen printers with a buzzer announce new tickets audibly (in testing)

- Kitchen display without touch: numeric keypad, bump bar or foot switch – even with wet hands; kitchen display, pick-up screen and customer display keep the screen awake (in testing)
- Barcode scanner at the till: one scan enters the item; the till recognises vouchers and regular-guest cards by their QR code (in testing)
- In preparation: card payments at the terminal directly from the POS – on the Stripe terminal, guests see the items and total before paying and choose the tip
Kiosk: self-ordering with pick-up number
Guests order on a tablet, pay at the counter and collect their food as soon as their number appears. The first stage is built, with payment at the counter; card payment directly on the device is planned.
Add-on module for any package – see pricing for the price.

Add-on module for any package – see pricing for the price.

- Applicant inbox with a light for each stage, notes and email templates for interview, trial shift, offer and rejection
- Take people into the team with one tap: person, contract, probationary period and invitation are created together
- Data protection built in: no questions about photo, health or marital status, deletion after fixed periods, talent pool only with separate consent
- Onboarding checklist with deadlines from the first working day: written terms of employment (German Evidence Act), immediate social security notification, instruction under the Infection Protection Act, safety briefings – red when something is overdue
- Knowledge pages for your team, with pictures and per area or role – for example welcome, hygiene, allergens, POS, emergencies
- Learning modules with read confirmation and comprehension questions; required reading with deadline and reminder
- Record safety briefings – occupational safety, fire safety, hygiene, infection protection: proof is created for each person, with the deadline for the next one
- At a glance: who has read what and which briefing is due
Roles and permissions
Each person sees only what they need for their work. This keeps the app simple and protects wages, personnel files and the till.
- Seven roles to start with: owner, shift lead, team, waiting staff, bar counter, kitchen and payroll office – plus an operations manager if you wish
- Permissions per role, clearly arranged in six groups and adjustable at any time
- At the till: voids, discounts, cash count and end-of-day closing only with the right permission – otherwise the till shows “Please call a manager”
- Management creates further management accounts itself, confirmed with a two-factor code or password; every change is logged
- Simple mode: a start page and short navigation for each role – waiting staff start at the tables, the kitchen at the kitchen display
- Role templates for several businesses and the four-eyes principle – see Change log and modular permissions
Change log and modular permissions
See who changed what and when – without monitoring your team. The log runs in every business; entries cannot be changed or deleted.
- Logged: changes to permissions, staff and contracts, to the rota after publication, time corrections, holiday decisions, POS settings, modules and deletion runs – with old and new value
- Search and filter by period, area, person and object; export as CSV or PDF; information per person under the GDPR
- Chained with checksums: every night Lumigast recalculates the chain and tells management if something is wrong
- Sign-in log: when and how someone signed in, failed attempts and a lock after too many wrong passwords, which management can lift
- Every person sees the devices they are signed in on and can sign out other devices
- Not logged: read access, page views, passwords and reasons for sickness – and there is no analysis per person over time
- Role templates: define roles once and distribute them to all businesses – adjustable on site or adopted and locked; compare “who may do what” across all businesses
- Four-eyes principle: granting or removing management roles and changing management permissions only with confirmation from a second manager
- In the log, the works council sees its own areas: rota, holidays and times – without wages
Several locations and head office
For businesses with more than one location: one account, one cockpit across all locations, centrally maintained templates – and staff who work in several locations with one login.
Add-on module for any package – see pricing for the price.
- Cockpit with a tile per location: revenue yesterday and this month, staff cost and cost of goods ratios, missing staff today (flashing red), open requests and faults
- Monthly report per location and overall: revenue, staff costs, hours, cost of goods and waste – also as a spreadsheet
- Maintain items, product groups, recipes, checklists, design and roles centrally and distribute them – first as a preview, then with a log
- Your choice per item: locked centrally or adjustable on site. Each location can adjust its own selling prices
- Feedback from the locations: where content differs or a location's own price applies
- Add staff to another location: one login for all locations, switch at the top of the app, your own shifts at all locations in one week
- Rule checks include shifts at other locations: overlaps, maximum daily hours, rest periods, Sundays and youth protection
- Staff costs of a location are visible only to people with the right to see them there; payroll export stays separate per business
Central kitchen and production
One business cooks ahead for the others – sauces, stocks, desserts. Lumigast plans production, tracks every batch and delivers to your locations with a delivery note.
Add-on module for any package – see pricing for the price.
- Products from your recipes, with shelf life, best-before or use-by date, storage note and list of ingredients
- Production suggestion from the locations' expected sales and their requests, minus stock and orders already planned
- Production list for the kitchen on the phone: tick off, enter quantity, batch and temperature
- “Done” books out the ingredients and books in the product – with batch, best-before date and production cost; missing ingredients become a draft order
- Label as PDF with name, ingredients, highlighted allergens, production and expiry date, batch and producer
- Traceability per batch: where the ingredients came from and which locations received it
- Locations request on the phone, the central kitchen accepts and delivers; receipt is booked with quantity and temperature
- Stock per location and storage place, transfers with delivery note and a stock ledger with every movement
- Record core temperature and cooling with limit values
Franchise
For franchise head offices: bill fees, distribute standards, see the status. Every franchisee has their own account – head office only sees what the contract allows.
Add-on module for any package – see pricing for the price.
- Create franchisees with term, ongoing fee as a percentage of net revenue, minimum fee, marketing contribution and entry fee; joining by invitation code
- Before joining, the franchisee sees what head office will see – and what it never sees: no receipts, no employees, no rotas, no wages, no guests
- Monthly revenue report from the franchisee's app, checked and confirmed by the franchisee
- Fee invoice as an e-invoice (ZUGFeRD PDF and XRechnung) with its own number range once head office’s details are complete – the franchisee downloads it in their app; corrections only by cancellation invoice, export as a spreadsheet for accounting
- Light board per franchisee: green all done, yellow report outstanding, red fee overdue
- Standards in versions: items with a non-binding recommended price, recipes, checklists, design, training and a framework for opening hours
- The franchisee adopts the standards themselves and sets their own prices freely; any deviation is reported with a reason
- Head office sees for each standard: adopted, different or open
Starter profiles: an easy start
You tell Lumigast what kind of business you run, and the app adapts to it. Each role sees only what it needs – you add more when you need it.
- Five starter profiles: café, takeaway/quick service, restaurant, bar/pub and catering/events – bakery cafés, ice cream parlours and food trucks included
- Set-up with only five required details: name, town and federal state, way of working, team size and first workflow; everything else is optional
- Short navigation on the phone: your team sees at most four items, waiting staff and kitchen five, management six – each with “More”
- “Today” shows the three most urgent tasks at the top, with the number of further tasks below
- “Discover”: every feature that is switched off, with its benefit, price, permissions and set-up – anything that costs extra needs its own tick, and nothing is ever booked automatically
- Switch profiles without losing anything: data, settings and booked modules stay
New opening and set-up
Opening a restaurant means keeping track of many trips to the authorities and many deadlines. Lumigast turns them into one list – and sets up your business in a single run.
Learn more: New opening → · Set up in one day → · Your branding →
- Start-up checklist based on your opening date, federal state and a few yes/no questions – around 50 items in four phases
- Restaurant licensing law for all 16 German federal states, with sources (as of October 2026): whether a licence is required or a notification is enough, with which deadline, and whether the briefing at the chamber of commerce (IHK) is part of it
- Business registration, registering the till with the tax office, briefing under the Infection Protection Act, hygiene with a basic HACCP folder, GEMA, insurance, suppliers, staff
- Every item in plain language: the responsible office, a link, a note on costs and space for your documents; the whole list as PDF
- A light for each item – flashing red when a deadline has passed – and reminders 14 and 3 days before
- Set-up wizard in seven steps: type of business, logo and colours, menu as a template or imported from CSV/Excel, tables and stations, team with invitations by QR code or WhatsApp, pairing devices, done
- Five starter profiles – café, takeaway, restaurant, bar and catering – switch on the right features; you can open the wizard again at any time
- The checklist does not replace advice from the trade office, the chamber of commerce or your tax adviser
My contract
Your contract with us, openly in the app: what you have booked, what the next invoice contains and how you take your data with you.
- Package and add-on modules per business with price, plus minimum term and notice period
- Active people today and the highest number in the month – so you can see what is charged
- Preview of the next invoice; all invoices as e-invoices – as a ZUGFeRD PDF with embedded invoice data (EN 16931 profile) that your accounting software reads directly, or as an XRechnung if you prefer
- We set up the invoice format and, if needed, your Leitweg-ID (routing ID for German public authorities) for you; each e-invoice is created once and then stays unchanged
- Rented devices and their rental period
- With several locations, the management of each location sees only its own business, the contract holder sees the whole contract
- Want a different package? Send a message to our support straight from the app – the answer appears under Help
- Your data belongs to you: all data of your business available for download at any time
- Visible only with the “My contract” permission – at the start only for the owner role
What Lumigast does differently
The small differences.
Many programs can handle a rota. The difference lies in the small things that save time every day.
- Targeted requests. You ask your preferred staff directly, and the answer comes back as yes or no in the chat.
- Row of lights instead of a calendar. One glance shows you where staff are missing over the next four weeks.
- Costs in advance. The cost traffic light also works for planned days, using the revenue your own history suggests.
- Earnings preview. For every open shift, your team sees what it pays and how much room is left below the minijob limit.
- On-call and thanks. You call in a reserve with one tap, and whoever steps in gets a thank-you instead of a place in a ranking.
- To resolve today. Your day starts with the list of open items, and in the chat the assistant answers questions such as “Who can do service on Saturday?” without AI.
- One daily menu for everything. You maintain it once, and guests, the POS system and the kitchen’s prep list (mise en place) have it straight away.
- Theoretical versus actual. After the stocktake, the theoretical cost of goods from sales and recipes shows what is missing without anyone having recorded it.
- Pay by seat. Each item remembers the seat, so every guest pays exactly what they had with just a few taps (POS system in testing).
- Obligations on the side. The audit trail for a customs inspection builds itself, and deletion periods run every night without you having to do anything.
- Suggestions with reasons. The rota suggestion says why for every assignment – nothing is taken over until you have checked it.
- Reviews without a filter. After giving feedback, every guest gets the same link to Google reviews, no matter how many stars they gave.
- Traceable, not monitored. The change log shows who changed what. It does not record read access or page views, and there is no analysis per person.
- Franchise with clear limits. Head office sees revenue totals and the status of its standards, never employees, guests or receipts – and the franchisee sets their own prices.
- Your contract in the app. You see your package, the next invoice and all invoices as e-invoices under “My contract”, and you can download your data at any time.
- The manager changes prices, products and the daily menu by voice or text message in the chat, in any language, with a preview and confirmation.
