Cancellations and swaps

When someone cancels, you see straight away who can step in. Staff can hand over or swap shifts – you approve, and the rules are checked first.

Why does this feature exist?

A call at eleven: “I’m sick.” Now the search for cover begins, often under time pressure and with lots of messages. Lumigast shows straight away who is free that day and asks them all with one tap. Until someone accepts, the gap stays visible on the board and is not forgotten. Swaps and handovers run in the same app, with your approval.

What does it do for you?

How it works

  1. Someone cancels in the app, or you enter the cancellation.

  2. Lumigast shows who is free – tap “Ask everyone”.

  3. The first person to accept takes the shift, and the light turns green.
